Calling all future disability community leaders!

11th Annual NINJA Conference for Youth with Disabilities will be held at Utah State University in Logan, UT on May 30-June 2, 2023

  • No expense to selected delegates (all expenses paid).
  • Exciting, fun, and educational 4-day training program.
  • Developing future disability leaders and self-advocates
  • Consumers of Centers for Independent Living (CIL) ages 16-24.

 

If you are interested in applying and attending the NINJA Conference please STAY TUNED!! Applications are dueMarch 7, 2023.

The application link can be used for both delegates and mentors. *Mentors are eligible to attend for up to 3 years or until age 30*

Helpful tips for your online application:

  • -Be prepared to provide 2 letter’s of recommendation. One MUST be from someone other than a family member (They can be uploaded in PDF or Word format)
  • -Be prepared to answer short essay questions about your leadership potential or experience
  • -Make sure all information is complete and correct before submitting your application
  • -It is essential to provide a valid email address so we can notify you if you are accepted to attend
  • -If you need assistance filling out the application please contact your local Independent Living center staff they will be happy to assist you
